The personalization process — 4 steps

Four steps, roughly two minutes of your time. First, pick the music style — 9 options, from pop ballad and acoustic to rock, rap, Latin, oldies, dance and country. Second, pick the mood: happy, romantic, funny, emotional, celebratory, nostalgic, calm or epic. The mood decides how the song FEELS — the same style can carry a tearjerker or a party anthem. Third, tell the story in the free-text box: my aunt's name and a handful of real moments — the raw material of the lyrics. You also choose the voice here — male, female or a duet. Fourth, enter your email and pay $8.99.

Then we compose. The lyrics are written from your story, and two full versions of the song are produced — you receive both by email in about 3 minutes and keep the one you love.

Plan the reveal like you would plan the unwrapping. Text the link at the right minute; play it live with a speaker and no warning; slip a QR code into a card or a small box; or add the animated gift page (+$4) so the link opens with a little ceremony before the song.
