Personalized song for Jeremy — just because

The lyrics

[Verse 1]
I remember when we first talked on the phone,
I heard your voice and I was not alone.
Something in me just knew right then,
you were the one I'd want to share my life with, again and again.
The way you laughed, the way you spoke,
I could feel that we were going to be close.
Every word you said felt like home,
and I've been holding on to that ever since.

[Chorus]
From the first phone call, I just knew you were mine,
from the first phone call, I just knew, every time.
Jeremy Williams, my king, you're the one I call home,
from the first phone call, I just knew you were mine.

[Verse 2]
All our FaceTime moments, late into the night,
you showing up on my screen and making everything right.
Waking up beside you, sunlight on the floor,
you pulling me closer, asking for one more.
You're in the kitchen cooking, you cook so good,
the whole house smells like the love you put in every food.
And our special song comes on, I hold you tight,
and I remember why I chose you, every night.

[Chorus]
From the first phone call, I just knew you were mine,
from the first phone call, I just knew, every time.
Jeremy Williams, my king, you're the one I call home,
from the first phone call, I just knew you were mine.

[Bridge]
You work so hard, and you never take a break,
but you still find time for our family's sake.
You take care of me, you take care of our son Jeremiah,
you show up every day, and you never leave us wondering.
I don't say it enough, I know I don't,
but everything you do for us, I see, and I won't
forget a single thing, not one small part,
because you're the reason this family has a heart.

[Final Chorus]
From the first phone call, I just knew you were mine,
from the first phone call, I just knew, every time.
Jeremy Williams, my king, I love you with all my heart,
from the first phone call, I just knew you were mine.
